first of all your logic is rubbish,suffering is NOT winning-just because the russians got slaughtered does not make them more victorious:after D-day the nos of germans facing us was equal-we won the italian front,westenr front+we almost alone defeated the german navy and airforce-russia only fought germanys army and that in ever smaller numbers once we got to europe

We both lost around 1 million lives during that war, whereas the Russians lost around 50 miilion, THEY did most of the fighting and dying, we had it easy compared to them
