One thing I've noticed, is that with regular massages, sometimes there isn't as much pressure as you need. I've actually fallen asleep during them. But with ashiatsu, it's very relaxing, but you won't fall asleep because there is more pressure. Not to mention how great you feel afterwards. :D

Ashiatsu is an Americanized version of Chavutti Thirumal; Ashiatsu uses a system of overhead bars and Chavutti uses a rope for the therapist. So, you might try entering "Chavutti Thirumal London" in your search engine. (I have not personally experience massages from any of those practioners listed.) But there are a number of them listed in London. Also the magazines Marie Claire, London Magazine, and Guardian Weekend magazine have done feature articles and list practioners. Hope this helps.
