Then what is your idea of progress? It seems to be your idea of progress is being defenseless, which is stupid to be perfectly honest. And guns are never the source of violence and evil to begin with: BAD PEOPLE are. Without guns, there will still be bad people who will hurt others for no good reason. And, if a bad person is attacking you, sometimes unfortunately, you have to KILL that bad person to stop him from hurting you. That may not be progressive, but that's REALITY.
