I was in berlin last year for 2 week on vacation with my wife and I felt no animosity towards us or any other americans but thats just my observation

I agree. I was stationed there in Weisbaden for a few years and made some excellent friends.

Ok just joking, yes some germans dont like us peoples but this has many different reasons mayby one is that so many us peoples still think germans = nazis ? ^^
Or mayby because germany wanted to be a nuklear weapon free country but us nuklear weapons are STILL deploey in germany ?
Mayby because you helped the "west" germans while "east" germans had to stay with the "reds" ?
